- Guests’ photos were taken and instantly analyzed for optimal placement within the digital interactive mosaic, then inserted in real-time right on screen
Submission Options – How we got those photos on screen
Onsite Photographer
- Picture Mosaics provided onsite photographers
- Dynamic green screen backdrop provided
Hashtag photo submission
- Guests could also submit their photos to the mosaic through a Twitter/Instagram hashtag (e.g. #bbmosaic)
Enhancements – The exciting extras
Pop-Out Animation
- Dynamic animation randomly showcased all photos in mosaic in a “pop-in, pop-out” fashion
Prize Locations
- Several prize locations placed within the mosaic, designated by a specific icon

Digital Interactive Mosaic Event: Bayer XXIV Congress of the ISTH, Amsterdam

Digital Interactive Mosaic
- Photos were taken via a photobooth as color and shape analysis was performed on the fly, allowing the image to be placed in its rightful spot within seconds. The photo mosaic was built live on a large screen HD display.

Post Mosaic Design
- Upon completion of the live build, the mosaic was optimized and full design took place. A digital file of the mosaic was then supplied to the client.

The Chloraprep Photo Mosaic Mural
When Chloraprep needed a centerpiece for their booth at the Infection Control Trade Show they turned to Picture Mosaics. This 15′ x 16′ photo mosaic mural was comprised of images of nurses and captured the attention of everyone that passed by the unique focal point. The photo mosaic was also incorporated into smaller posters and adverts to help bring an educational experience to the Chloraprep booth.
The 2012 Mona Lisa Photo Mosaic Jerry’s Artarama Catalog Cover
Jerry’s Artarama was looking for a unique, creative angle for their 2012 catalog cover. In the initial discovery phase, they reached out to us to help explore possible directions. The designers at here at Picture Mosaics knew straight away that our trendsetting Multi-size Mosaic technique would result in an extraordinary cover. Utilizing images that Jerry’s Artarama gathered over the years, the very first Multi-size Mona Lisa photo mosaic was born.

With three years of airtime under their belt, ESPN Sportsnation was looking for the perfect way to bring every milestone together into one stunning piece. They contacted us to do just that. Using the well known, and complex, Sportsnation logo as the photo mosaic source image was one of our biggest source image challenges to date. After brainstorming several design techniques, we found a cutting edge solution that met their every expectation.
