In 2009, The Mario Lemieux Foundation contacted us to create a massive 20ft x 8ft photo mosaic mural in the Pittsburgh Penguins PPG Paints arena along with two interactive kiosk and an interactive online mosaic and kiosk. The Mario Mosaic was a great way to involve the community and help raise funds for cancer and neonatal research; it was a main attraction at the new hockey arena. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Mario Lemieux Foundation. Picture Mosaics has teamed up with the foundation again to completely overhaul the mosaic mural, kiosks, and online mosaic.
We recently teamed up with easyJet to launch what became quite a monumental photo mosaic campaign. In celebration of their 20th birthday, easyJet contacted us to help create an activation that would bring their fans and customers together in a fun and interesting way. By utilizing the social and interactive aspects of our online mosaic platform, we were able to create the easyJet 20th Birthday Plane Mosaic. Once completed, this massive photo mosaic was printed on an actual easyJet plane!
An online interactive photo mosaic is the perfect way to bring people together for a good cause. Three years ago, we teamed up with the American Diabetes Association to create a fan-driven photo mosaic. The goal was to show the world what a day in the life of diabetes is really like. The photos came pouring in and the results were truly inspirational. With social sharing and audience engagement being a key factor, the ADA online photo mosaic has played an important role in diabetes awareness these past few years.
