Tarkett reached out to us looking for a unique activation for NeoCon 2017 in Chicago. With a Live Print Mosaic, each guest not only becomes part of the artistic installation, they help to build the actual work of art by hand-placing their photo.

To create this mosaic, we used photos posted through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using two unique hashtags (#Tarkett and #DoingGood).

Live Print Mosaic

• • • Guests’ photos were printed onsite giving them the opportunity to hand-place their picture in the photo mosaic mural

Real-time Mosaic Creation

• • • Using a dual processing technique to analyze photos for colors and shapes, each photo was placed in its optimal location for the best overall appearance

Mosaic Grid Surface Image

• • • The grid started out with its own image and was gradually transformed as the mosaic was created.

Submission Options

Hashtag Submissions

• • • Participants submitted Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram photos using a hashtag (e.g. #Tarkett and #Doing Good)
    • Captured: name, photo, and tweet/caption (public profiles only)
