Picture Mosaics teamed up with Adidas to bring a Live Print Mosaic to the US Women’s Volleyball tournament at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Over this 3-day tournament, participants had their photo taken to be part of the large photo mosaic of Olympic medalist Jordan Larson, and had the chance to win a variety of prizes. To create this mosaic, we also used photos posted through Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #heretocreate🏐. Each individual that had their picture taken at the event received a branded takeaway of their photo. With a Live Print Mosaic, each guest not only becomes part of the artistic installation, they help to build the actual work of art by hand-placing their photo.

This mosaic will be located in the Bob Devaney Sports Center at the University of Nebraska for years to come!

Live Print Mosaic

  • Guests’ photos were printed onsite, just seconds after it was taken, on our patent-pending segmented adhesive paper.
  • At the bottom of each image there are large coordinates, which gave the guests the opportunity to easily hand place their picture in the photo mosaic mural.
