People from Pittsburgh and Boston helped Dick’s Sporting Goods celebrate the one-year anniversary of its House of Sport stores with a special photo mosaic event. With their House of Sports store model being an interactive experience in itself, they wanted an interactive way to celebrate!

Capturing the Spirit of Every Store

These events were full of energy, with more than 1,200 people that shared their photos, helping to create a large photo mosaic wall. The final mosaic was made up of over 2,000 consumer photos from in store, fan photos from inside different stadiums in their cities, and historical photos of sports players. Each photo was printed and placed on the mosaic, showing the moments that make the House of Sport unique.

Each mosaic was designed to show something special about where the store was located. For example, the Pittsburgh store’s final image was the city’s skyline, and the Boston store showed Fenway Park. Since every store had its own unique photo mosaic, the celebration felt more personal and connected to each community.

Snap a Photo and Be Part of the Mosaic

Guests were invited to take selfies or fun photos while exploring the store. QR codes were placed around the store so guests could easily upload their pictures. Every photo was printed right there in the store and added to the photo mosaic by the guest or a staff member.

Whether someone was on the turf field or swinging in the golf simulator, each photo helped build the growing mosaic, showing the strong community at each store.

A Year of Sports and Community

Dick’s House of Sport is more than just a store, it’s a place to play, explore, and connect. With cool things like climbing walls, sports cages,  and putting greens, visitors can test equipment and have fun.

The Live Photo Mosaic was a great way to celebrate one year of bringing people together. It turned everyday photos and showed how sports and community go hand in hand at House of Sport.
