Upload your digital pictures

Purchase a Picture Mosaic from the purchase page.  Be sure to select the option that you will be uploading your pictures.  Pictures may be in jpeg, tif, or bmp formats.  After completing your order you may go to the Upload Page to begin uploading your digital pictures. Instructions on how to upload can be found on the up Upload Page.

Use this file structure to organize your source picture and cell pictures:

note 1: You must follow the cell and source guidelines.
note 2: Additional file structuring may be needed; please see the cell guidelines.
note 3: You may have multiple folders in your "cells" folder as long as the cell guidelines are followed.

* Digitalized cell pictures should be at least 320 pixels on the longer side or at least 75 dpi.
* The digitalized source picture should be of higher resolution (greater than 400 pixels on the longer side or at least 150 dpi).

Send your digital pictures on CD

Step 1:
Purchase a Picture Mosaic from the purchase page.  Be sure to select the option that you will be sending us a picture CD.  Pictures may be in jpeg, tif, or bmp formats.  We accept CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-/+R formats.

Step 2:
Create your CD using the following file structure to organize your source picture and cell pictures:

note 3: You may have multiple folders in your "cells" folder as long as the cell guidelines are followed.

* Digitalized cell pictures should be at least 320 pixels on the longer side or at least 75 dpi.

Step 3:
Label your CD with your name and customer ID number.
Then simply send your CD in protective packaging to:

note: To get your CD to us quickly, it is recommend that you send it via the US Postal Service.  UPS and FedEx are also viable carriers.

Important: As digital media is very inexpensive (and usually costing more than postage itself), your CD will not be returned.  If you would like your CD returned, please include self addressed return packaging with your CD with the correct postage.

Send your non-digital pictures

Step 1:
Purchase a Picture Mosaic from the purchase page.  Be sure to select the option that you will be physically sending your pictures to us, and approximately number of pictures you will be sending.

Step 2:
Follow the Cell Guidelines (click here). Place all cell pictures in an envelope labeled "CELLS".  Cell pictures must oriented in the same direction, i.e. they may not be backwards, sideways, or upside-down.  You MUST also sort differently sized pictures (into envelopes). You may not have more than four sets of differently sized/oriented pictures.
*Pictures must be at least 3in by 3in and no greater than 8.5in by 11in.

Step 3:
Follow the Source Guidelines (click here).  Identify your source picture by placing it in a separate envelope labeled "SOURCE".

Step 4:
Label your envelopes with your name and customer ID number.
Then simply place all of your pictures/envelopes in one large protective envelope and send it to:

note 1: To get your pictures to us quickly, it is recommend that you send it via the US Postal Service.  UPS and FedEx are also viable carriers.
note 2: Be sure to include your return address so that we can send your pictures back to you.

Important: Have your pictures shipped in protective packaging. Picture Mosaics is not responsible if damages are incurred during the shipment of your pictures to us; it is best to have your package insured through your carrier.
