How to use Windows XP or Windows Vista to zip up your pictures |

Step 1. Place all of your
pictures in the following file structure: |

Step 2. After all the pictures are in the appropriate folders, open Windows Explorer by right clicking on the start button and left clicking on "Explore" (as shown below). |

Step 3. Find the folder that contains your pictures that you setup in Step 1. Right click on the folder labeled with your last name (as shown below). A pull down menu will appear. |

Step 4. Left click the "Send To" option and then left click on "Compressed (zipped) Folder." This will 'zip' up all your pictures into one file. |

Step 5. After Windows XP is done 'zipping up' your pictures, it will place a new file named your_last_name.zip in the folder above the folder "your_last_name." For instance, in the above example, Windows has placed the new zip file in the "mosaic" folder. This file, your_last_name.zip, is the one you will upload to Picture Mosaics. |
