solutions for cells
that do not match the cell shape that you have selected
Digital Option 1: You may crop your pictures so that they are all of a similar orientation and match your selected cell size before you sending them to us. Below is an example of a vertically oriented picture cropped to fit into a horizontal rectangular cell shape. Note: There are many free image editing applications available that allow you to crop your digital photos.
Digital Option 2: You may sort your cell pictures into different folders that do not match the cell shape you have selected. Below is examples of how to sort your digital photos.
Important: You may only have up to 50 cells that do not match your selected cell shape (as we will have to manually crop each cell that does not match your cell shape). These photos still must be sorted.
What NOT to do with your digital photos:
What is wrong with the above? 1) This image is rotated. All images should be correctly orientated. This is a common problem vertical pictures taken with a digital camera. Most image editing software will allow you to rotate a picture and resave. (2) This image is vertical, and should be cropped or sorted (using Digital Option 1 or Digital Option 2).(3) This image has a white border. All images should be border free. This is a common problem that is associated with scanning pictures with a scanner. Most image editing software will allow you to crop out the white border. (4) This image is vertical, and should be cropped or sorted (using Digital Option 1 or Digital Option 2). Important: You may only have up to 50 cells that do not match your selected cell shape (as we will have to manually crop each cell that does not match your cell shape). These photos still must be sorted.
